Le premier album de The Ether sur Snapped In Half était l’une des meilleures sorties de 2009. Die Rococco Die sur Campaign For Infinity continuait dans la même direction. Avec ces deux albums, en écoute très régulière, j’essayais tant bien que mal à comprendre comment un punk très garage et même naïf (un très léger clin d’oeil à F.Y.P.) pouvait si facilement se marier aux textures caverneuses de Bathory ou d’autres pionniers du black-metal, tout en gardant des trames rock’n’roll sinon, des moments de totale trance psychédélique. Ce groupe est franchement seul dans son monde, et ne peut laisser indifférent quiconque s’intéresse aux nouvelles musiques. C’est pourquoi nous sommes plus qu’heureux de participer à leur projet et de vous rendre accessible une autre de leurs folies ! - PATENTE
